World Oral Health Day March 20, 2022 Celebrated in College of Dental Surgery, GMCTHRC,
Pokhara-27, Lekhnath, Ritthepani, Kaski
Department of Community Dentistry, College of Dental Surgery, Gandaki Medical Teaching College and Research Centre has successfully conducted a speech and poster competition on the occasion of world oral health day on 20th March 2022. Speech competition among the students of class six to nine of eight various schools of Lekhnath, Kaski. Topic for speech competition was “Oral Health”. Seventeen students were actively participated in the speech competition. Poster competition among the BDS and BPH students of GMC. Total 12 posters were presented. The Theme for poster presentation was: “BE PROUD OF YPUR MOUTH”. Both programs were judged by three different judges.

Third Runner Up: ENJILA PUN (score: 94.5/150) (BDS- 4th Year, First phase)
Prizes distribution:
Certificates of participation and toothbrush was provided for all the participants. Token of love was provided for winner, first, second and third runner up. Along with this the following extra benefit was provided.
For Winner: The costs of dental treatments up to Nepalese Rupees Five thousand (5,000) will be free
First Runner up: The costs of dental treatments up to Nepalese Rupees Four thousand (4,000) will be free
Second Runner up: The costs of dental treatments up to Nepalese Rupees Three thousand (3,000) will be free
Third Runner up: The costs of dental treatments up to Nepalese Rupees Two thousand (2,000) will be free.
